Mesh shirts are definitely one of my favorite closet staples this summer. In a way it's almost like you're cheating the weather -- you still get to wear long sleeves but still keep cool despite the heat. Another thing I like about it is its versatility. You can go for a sexier and more risque look by wearing only your bra underneath and combining it with denim shorts like Kylie Jenner does, or you can go for a slightly more conservative look like I did.



For today's OOTD I kept things minimalist with a twist. I stuck mostly to a monochrome palette but incorporated an unexpected element by opting for socks with a Game Boy print to spice things up. It's little details like these that can really elevate a simple ensemble into something more modern and fashion-forward.
