You Should Have Racing Stripes, The Way You Keep Me In Pursuit . . .
Today will be just a quick outfit post because I've got a busy, busy day ahead! As you may have noticed, I have a sort of obsession with mixing and matching various prints together. Just like I said in my last post, I always try to defy the so-called "rules" in fashion because quite frankly, I don't like being told that I can't do a particular thing LOL.
This morning, my mom and I were talking about this and she told me, "Well, some rules cannot be broken. I mean, I don't think you can wear two different striped pieces together. . ."
Well, that was all I really needed to hear. Challenge accepted, mom! I went straight to my room and put together an outfit using two different stripes (vertical and horizontal). And to push my limits further, as you can see from the photos, I actually wore FOUR different prints in one ensemble!
What do you think? Did I succeed in breaking another fashion rule? I hope so ;)
Always remember that fashion is supposed to be fun, so don't be scared to experiment and try out different things. Wearing print on print can be challenging sometimes, that's why it's important to try out any and every possible combination of patterns that you can think of because, well, you never know what's going to work. Before today, I hadn't even thought about pairing two different stripes in one outfit!

I want to quote this "Always remember that fashion is supposed to be fun, so don't be scared to experiment and try out different things." I just think that I really need to try a look like this soon (print on print...) since I have lots of different printed clothes in my closet. You'll surely be my fashion inspiration when I do it! :)
