I Can't Remember To Forget You

One of the very first blog posts I ever posted was an outfit inspired by the colors of a peacock - green & blue. Today, I wore an ensemble using the same beautiful color scheme, which is just another one of my "tried and tested" color combinations.

A lot of people here in the Philippines refrain from wearing "fishnet" stockings because they feel that it's a bit too "naughty". As always, I felt challenged to prove society wrong and decided to wear my leopard-patterned stockings today.

I've found that the key is to balance the entire look out. Since the stockings are already a bit "sexy", it's good to pair them with something very conservative like this cobalt blue structured blazer. Doing so will tone down the raunchiness of the stockings.

Today I also broke one of my personal fashion rules - never wear two of the same prints together in one outfit. As you can see, both my stockings AND my shoes are leopard-print. Somehow I think it works though. What's your opinion?
