Stop The World, I Wanna Get Off With You

What do you guys think about the galaxy print? To be honest, I tend to despise anything that is considered very 'mainstream'. I hate it when I end up liking something that nobody else knows about, and in a few months' time, suddenly everyone likes it. Maybe I'm just really a hipster at heart lol.

I started wearing galaxy leggings long before the trend hit the Philippines. At the time, I was one of the few people who was wearing galaxy-printed clothes. Now, however, I'm sure you're all aware of how popular the print has become. Every single time I go someplace, I see so many people wearing galaxy leggings. Although normally this would be reason enough for me to stop wearing them, for some reason I just can't bring myself to get rid of these leggings. There's just something about the print that really attracts me.

Remember what I said in my earlier blog posts about "tried-and-tested" color combinations? My outfit today is another example of this. It's quite evident that green and purple are two colors that go really well together. That's why I knew I had to pair my leggings with a green blazer.

GREEN BLAZER from Japan
GALAXY LEGGINGS from Copper
STRIPED TANK TOP from People Are People
GLADIATOR SANDALS from Sewn
STATEMENT NECKLACE from Apostrophe
SNAKESKIN CLUTCH from Style Lab
ASSORTED BRACELETS from a friend
CLIC CLAC BRACELET from Hermes

I'm so in love with this snakeskin clutch bag from Style Lab! My sister (who some of you might know as the blogger behind "Wonder Woman Rises") gave it to me for Christmas and I was so excited to be able to use it today! It looks small but it's actually quite spacious. I was able to fit in my iPhone, wallet, powder, lipstick, and mirror with no problem. I actually think it's supposed to be a makeup bag but I ended up using it as a clutch lol.

As most of you know, I love wearing statement necklaces to complete my looks. This necklace from Apostrophe is my favorite accessory at the moment.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this outfit! I am actually planning on revolutionizing my personal style soon. Since I started blogging, I became known as someone who always wears blazers. Although I love the fact that I now have a staple style, I'm excited to start experimenting with different looks. Just think of me as a fashion chameleon lol.

Hope you're all having a fabulous holiday so far. Stay tuned for my next post for an exciting new giveaway! My blog has teamed up with a local store, which I will reveal next time ;)

xo

  1. I can totally see why you are attracted to those leggings, galaxy print is pretty fantastic. It is as colorful and feminine as a floral print, but not quite so hippy!!! They look great.
