Crying Lightning

As someone who always strives for perfection, I often tend to go for a preppy look. Blazers, jeans, sweaters, oxfords, argyle. . . . These are what you'd normally find me wearing on a typical day.

I always try my hardest to please my parents, the people around me (even the ones I don't like), and most of all myself. I guess it's because I'm kind of a rebel in many ways and so I feel like I have to work twice as hard to create a 'perfect' image.

However, I'm slowly getting rid of the need to try to be perfect all the time. Just like the ideal boyfriend, perfection is something that just isn't attainable.

I'm now trying not to take myself too seriously and have a little more fun in life. Hence the reason for my outfit today. If you're a regular reader of my blog, you'd know this isn't something I'd normally wear.

I usually wear something classic and structured, but decided to go for a more casual look this time around.

The loose vest really added a touch of boho to my ensemble. In order to keep it minimalist, I just paired the top with a simple necklace and finished off the whole look with a fun hat that my friend gave me. Isn't it cute? It actually has bear ears lol.

I was so tempted to use my Birkin again today, but I figured you guys would get bored seeing me wear the same bag over and over again. That's why I used my Louis Vuitton Azur Speedy instead. To tell you the truth, I actually forgot I had this bag, so I'm happy I found it hiding somewhere in my closet.
