I Slay My Own Dragons

Today's outfit is very minimalist compared to my usual ensembles. I went for something comfortable that's both laidback and stylish. To be honest, when I first received these clear floral boots, it took me a while to decide what to wear with them. You know those moments when you're stuck in a fashion rut and for some reason you're just at a loss for inspiration? Well, in times like these, Google is your friend! I simply searched for "Tumblr outfits" online (because let's face it, these boots just scream "Tumblr") and voila! I found so many sartorial inspirations that helped me put together this outfit.

Isn't technology a wonderful thing? It even helps me with fashion emergencies.

On another note, my personal life hasn't been going so well lately. I've now made the decision to distance myself from certain people who I used to consider my "friends" because I no longer want to be around their negativity. It's been slightly difficult to cut people off from my life but you know what? Losing friends isn't necessarily a bad thing. Especially when you feel like they were never good for you and your life anyway.

The one person I expected to be there for me also turned out to be not who I thought he was. To be honest, I'm fine with it though. I never needed a knight in shining armor to save me anyway. I am perfectly capable of slaying my own dragons.
