Lately I've found myself gravitating towards simpler street styles. Maybe it's because of the hot weather that we've been experiencing recently, but I've just been dressing down the past few days and going for a more "devil may care vibe".

Today I went for a denim on denim look featuring my favorite ripped boyfriend jeans and tie-around top from COPPER.



Since wearing double denim can look extremely monotonous, I just added a bit of color to my ensemble by tying a red plaid shirt around my waist. Doing so is a great way to add layers to an outfit even though technically, I'm not exactly wearing the shirt. Hence, it doesn't make me feel hot and I can still look ultra stylish in the process.
