Tarnished

I've always liked adding metallic accents to my outfits. They add a sort of futuristic vibe to the overall ensemble, don't you think? Today, I kept things simple by making black the dominant color, because as we all know by now, one can never go wrong with black.

Don't get me wrong -- I always prefer to wear bold statement colors and prints, but I don't want to do the same things over and over again or else I'd end up boring all of you (and that's something any fashion blogger would want to avoid). Sometimes, sticking to basic black is a statement in itself.

I chose tarnished silver as my metallic color of choice for this outfit. No, my boots and necklace did not rust from oxidation lol. I bought them looking that way, because there's something about this particular type of silver that looks very vintage and unique.
