Between The Click Of The Light & The Start Of The Dream
Yes, I'm wearing too many layers of clothing considering the fact that I live in sunny Philippines. No, I'm not crazy. You see, these photos were taken almost two months ago, way before the weather became unbearably hot!
In a way, I guess you could say that my outfit was heavily influenced by European style. In fact, I look like I should be in Germany or France or something . . . Definitely not in hot, hot Manila! I always put fashion before comfort, though, and so I didn't really mind the unnecessary extra layers of clothing LOL. Although to be honest, I did take off the blazer after I was done taking these OOTD shots and wore it over my shoulders as a cape instead.
As I've said before, I get style inspirations from practically anywhere! This time around, my outfit was inspired by other fashion bloggers, who I've noticed have been wearing tartans and plaids quite often lately.
This outfit is also a sort of throwback to my old personal style. This is something that the 2010 version of me would wear -- almost all-black with just the right amount of color. If you've been following my blog in the past few months then it's no secret that I've gotten a little too obsessed with colors and prints lately. However, I decided to go for a darker ensemble today just for a change.
