Join in on the fun and participate in the Beer Olympics at Tavern Asia and Rue Bourbon!

Nothing beats letting loose with your best buds during your downtime to simply have fun or blow off some steam. After all, that's how most of us get through the week right? Amidst the endless cycle of daily life it's perfectly alright to kick back sometimes, chill out, and have a few drinks. I don't know know about you but I'm starting to get tired of partying at extravagant night clubs until the wee hours of the morning. Maybe it's my age, I don't know, but I'm starting to appreciate more laidback nights at nearby bars and hotspots. 

Now, if you love beer, then here's where it gets interesting . . . One of my favorite bars here in BF Homes, Tavern Asia, is hosting a Beer Olympics event every other week on Fridays for those of you who want to spice up their evenings with a little bit of fun and games. I personally am not a huge fan of beer myself but the majority of my friends are, so I invited them last week to check out the event and although we haven't joined yet, we definitely will on the next one! It honestly is an enjoyable activity to participate in especially with your friends to make your drinking nights even more memorable.

Basically there will be 4 teams (comprising of 4 players each) competing against each other in a series of 5 boozy games: Flipcup, Quarters, Drinking Hat Relay, Big Ass Beer Mug Chug, and everyone's favorite Beer Pong. The usual point system is used to keep score and the winning team will take home a big ass beer mug trophy as well as 2000 pesos worth of Gift Certificates! Not to mention, of course, the memories of another crazy night out with the people you love the most.

Joining in on the fun will only cost you 500 pesos, which is cheap considering all four of you that are playing will probably make "ambag ambag" so that each of you will only have to pony up 125 pesos (that's more or less the price of a bottle of beer anyway). For those of you who don't live here in the South, fret not. The Beer Olympics is also held at Rue Bourbon (Thursdays at the Tomas Morato branch and on Wednesdays at Eastwood)!
