I Know You Like A Little Danger

Hello, my #LittleRebels! My edgy fashion phase continues! I guess my rebellious side is coming out, so please bear with me. I know that a lot of people think that stockings make you look "cheap" but here I am yet again, on a mission to prove people wrong and rebel against the fashion norms. 

I think that it's good to be a little risque sometimes. I've always found a certain comfort in discomfort, because it is only when we're uncomfortable that we are actually living. The same thing can be applied to fashion and style. Playing it safe is, quite frankly, boring. There's no harm in taking certain risks once in a while and just having fun with it. Don't take yourself (or your fashion) too seriously.

For this OOTD, I actually styled two different looks using the same stockings, boots, and accessories to show just how versatile stockings can be.

LOOK #1: Edgy & Cool

For this first look that I styled, I chose to keep it edgy, rebellious, and slightly sexy. I just paired it with a graphic tee, gunmetal boots, tied a denim jacket around my waist, and voila! Instant rockstar vibe.

LOOK #2: Preppy & Chic

For the second look, I went down the slightly unexpected route and styled it a little more preppy. As you can see, I wore the same shoes, bracelet, and ring, but changed the top and the necklace. Wearing a slightly oversized sweater like this vintage Christian Dior creates a nice contrast and balance to the stockings, resulting in a more preppy ensemble. Adding a gold chain necklace and wearing purple lipstick really helped to give the greyscale palette subtle hints of color as well.
