BIOESSENCE: Meet & Greet With Allison Harvard

Last week I was invited by Bioessence to be part of an intimate "meet & greet" event with Allison Harvard, one of America's Next Top Model's most popular contestants to date. I'm sure you've all seen and fallen in love with her doll-like appearance, big doe eyes, and her incapability to take a bad picture (all she has to do is open her eyes wide and she ends up winning "best photo").

As you can imagine, being a longtime fan of America's Next Top Model, I was overjoyed when I received the invite through e-mail. 

In case some of you are wondering why my pictures look a bit different today, it's because I hired Adrianne Galvez as my official professional photographer for the day. Aren't the photos beautiful? They put my usual blog shots to shame.

Upon arriving at the event, I immediately noticed how beautifully Bioessence decorated the venue. Of course, the first thing that greeted me was a large tarpaulin featuring Allison's beautiful face. If you ask me, I'd say that Bioessence definitely made the perfect choice with regards to its model and endorser.

There was a lounge area where we could all sit comfortably while waiting for Allison's arrival. I was also given a loot bag by Bioessence, so thank you very much for that!

An array of food was served to us in the next room and I must say, the food was incredibly delicious! 

There was also a small area in the corner where the invited guests could enjoy free pampering treatments from the wonderful trained staff of Bioessence! Seriously, is it any wonder that Bioessence is #MyTopChoice? We were all very well taken care of.

And finally, Allison Harvard arrived! Startling us all with her captivating gaze and angelic aura. In all honesty, she really does look like a literal doll in person. It's almost as if she was a life-sized Barbie that can walk and talk for some reason. Also, she is extremely tall! She was bending down so low when I took a selfie with her on my phone.

Everyone in attendance were given the chance to ask Allison some questions. I asked her if she had any tips for people who were struggling to become comfortable in their own skin. She basically told me that the most important thing for us to learn is that it's okay to have bad days. Allison herself has bad days when she's feeling insecure about herself and feels down in the dumps. However, she said that it's crucial to not let those bad days take over you and your life and to always remember to love yourself and who you really are. I found her answer to be very inspiring and it was amazing to see how "normal" and relatable she was.

Of course, sitting down with Allison Harvard, I could not pass up the chance to take a video with her and let her say hi to all of my #LittleRebels! However, I guess I was starstruck during that time because I did not realize that the iPad's camera was set to Time Lapse, so I had to retake the video all over again. The second take was a bit of a fail, though, because both Allison and I ended up laughing and not finishing what we wanted to say. Afterwards, Allison went on to sign and autograph the pictures that we had taken with her at the photo booth. My life is now complete!

I would like to thank Bioessence for inviting me to this event and giving me the honor of meeting one of my favorite TV personalities! I felt very well taken care of during the meet & greet and I only have wonderfully positive things to say about Bioessence, the staff, and the services.
