It's Gone, But The Feeling Lingers

I'm sure you've all noticed my obsession with mixing and matching by now. You can wear the most basic pieces of clothing in various colors and patterns, and it instantly makes your outfit look interesting and gives it that extra "oomph".

Today's OOTD is a typical "lazy day" outfit for me. As you can see, I did not even bother to accessorize. I just wore a Marc Jacobs t-shirt, leggings, and a cardigan, yet the end result ended up looking quite chic despite its casual vibe. The secret? Colors and patterns!

Blue, green, and orange are three colors that go really well together. Experiment with different shades to see which ones work for you and your skin tone.

Don't you just hate bad hair days? For some reason, my hair just wouldn't cooperate with me today. The humidity in the air was also making it frizz up so I chose to get rid of my bangs for the day. A little trick I learned from Olivia Palermo is to always keep some bobby pins with me at all times. I simply divided my bangs into two sections, twisted them loosely, and pinned them to the sides. I always do this when it's raining out and there's a high chance of my hair getting frizzy, because even if it does, it ends up looking like part of the hairstyle (as opposed to regular days with my typical "bob" where my hair has to remain sleek and flat).
