Today's outfit is something that I probably wouldn't wear on a regular day, but I've been watching a few Western films lately and I was inspired by the classic cowgirl look. I wanted to do a modern take on it, so I paired the brown suede jacket and plaid top with silver metallic boots.

The earth tone of my jacket contradicts heavily with the futuristic appeal of the shoes, and the result is quite interesting but at the same time not too over-the-top. In fact, the two pieces match each other so well, don't you think?




When you're taking inspiration from costumes that you see in the movies, it's always best to copy the overall vibe of the outfit, without taking it too literally. For this cowgirl-inspired look, I just imitated the style but still made sure to add my own personal touches to it. A pearl necklace with a leopard-print chain ensured that my outfit still looked modern.
