LEE: Celebrating 125 Years of Excellence
I'm pretty sure you're all familiar with Lee, one of the top prestigious brands when it comes to fashion and clothing, renowned for its denim collections and high quality designs. When it comes to jeans, no other brand can compare to Lee. I've been wearing their products since I was a child, and I have never been disappointed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail.
I have to be honest though. Although I love wearing Lee and have been buying pieces from them for a long time, I'm not knowledgable when it comes to the brand's actual history. That's why I was surprised to learn that the brand is now celebrating its 125th year in the clothing industry. To honor this wonderful achievement, Lee will be touring Asia to showcase its archive exhibition in six major cities: Beijing, Tokyo, Bangkok, Sydney, New Delhi, and Manila.
Yesterday, I dropped by Glorietta to watch the exhibit in action, which was open only exlusively to the media and press for its first day.
The layout of the event was very grand and it was obvious that the event would be star-studded.
Lee cupcakes at the event
I also saw David Guison, one of the top male bloggers here in the Philippines, and I managed to take a shot of him from a distance. Call me a stalker, but come on . . . it's DAVID GUISON. Need I say more? I also spotted Kim Jones-Rosales who, I must say looks absolutely gorgeous and divine in person. I wasn't able to take a photo, though, because she was ushered backstage.
They actually held a fashion show last night, but unfortunately I wasn't able to watch it because I had to leave quite early due to a busy schedule. I just took some photos of the event really quickly so that I could share with you guys and then I left.
If you're free today, be sure to drop by Glorietta to check out the exhibit because it's open to the general public now. It includes priceless vintage items and Lee's historical archive, and you can witness for yourself the brand's innovation throughout its 125 years in the business.
I might post more photos of the actual exhibit later on, so stay tuned. In the meantime, head on over to Lee Philippines' Facebook page by clicking here to see more pictures, including ones of the actual fashion show that I missed.
